BRACKEN
At the age of almost 8 years old, Bracken has become the latest amputee registered at the practice.
Already having being diagnosed with epilepsy in 2008 and having this condition controlled with medication, Bracken was then diagnosed with a possible osteosarcome (malignant bone tumour) of his left front leg in May 2009.
His owners made the difficult decision to have his leg amputated in December 2009. Since then Bracken has greatly improved, learning to adjust to daily tasks such as his walks and getting on and off the couch, proving that you really can teach an old dog new tricks!!!
